Marina Yang is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work investigates the nature of being, from the experience of conscious existence to the material substance of the body. Her practice is grounded in an ongoing interplay between deliberate decisions, intuition, and chance. By inviting both intention and accident into the creative process, Marina is both maker and witness of the outcomes of her decisions, materials, and the conditions of the surrounding environment.​

Marina is a former lawyer who is now currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School in Australia. She lives and works on Bidjigal and Gadigal land.
