MOMENTS IN HANOI

I was in Hanoi for 10 days. During that time, I paused dozens of times to absorb a tiny moment — passersby, street food hawkers, shopkeepers, locals and tourists alike. These are just a few.
While hunting for banh mi, I came across some street stalls selling lamps and rugs.
Left: A bored woman selling balloons shaped like pigs in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square. Right: two tourists looking at cheap jewellery.
Left: A woman running to meet her coworkers. Right: A man burning votive paper in the gutter.
Women at work at Hang Da Market.
At a Pokemon cafe. I had some kind of juice called a Max Ether.
Couples on the street.
Left: A woman in a poster shop, apparently selling propaganda. Right: A street barber waiting for customers.
At the transition from night to dawn. Left: A woman setting up her banh mi stall in the minutes before sunrise. Right: A delivery woman who was hidden behind her scooter, and popped up just as I took the shot.

A vegetable seller asleep by her produce.
